No more knitting books

I've decided I need to knit at least one project from each knitting pattern book I own, before buying any more books.

Thus I need to find and knit a project from the following books:

A Gathering of Lace
New Pathways for Sock Knitters: Book One
Boho Baby Knits
No Sheep For You
Favorite Socks
Knitting Lingerie Style
Weekend Knitting
Domiknitrix

I left out Happy Hooker since I need to learn to crochet first.

Accepting the inevitable

I'm going to have to get another storage tote for my stash. I have so many club kits that haven't been knit yet, that my current storage system is really not working. Another storage tote is something I really had hoped to avoid.

Wasp invasion

Wasps started invading my apartment this week. They are getting in through my balcony somehow. And it is closed. Between the cat and myself we must have killed at least 50 in the past few days. I've never been stung and I don't want the cat getting stung.

So I started researching DIY wasp traps. And using some tips from WikiHow and and  an old 2 liter I made this:

As you can see, Sophie didn't want to be left out of the action. Especially when one of my tools was some leftover Peaches and Cream yarn. The trap is now on my balcony. I'm hoping this works. If it does I'll make 1-2 more.
